Is there any way to get
Code: Select all
<!-- IF S_ONLINE -->
to work on the index page ?

It appears that the above statement is working only in memberlist_view.html and ucp_pm_viewmessage.html i'm trying to put a online icon on the index page.

I'm not sure what you are asking here. The index page already displays a list of online users. And if the current user is logged in, it means they are online, so the S_REGISTERED_USER template variable would provide that information.

Hmm. I guess you could be talking about the notifications display. If so, you'll need to talk to the phpBB devs who wrote the notifications system. The online data might already be there, and if not, the devs might have had the foresight to add a hook to allow extensions to generate online data.

Other than notifications, there is nothing on the default index page where using that image would make any sense. If a user is logged in, they are online! Are you trying to add the image to the output from an extension?

If this is for an extension, then you should contact the author of the extension. Hopefully they can tell you how to modify their extension to output online information in a template variable.

Solved by using a js script.
